The parade outside the shows at the Lincoln Center are often more interesting than what goes on inside. The big trends for Fall/Winter were clearly evident as fashionistas primped and posed for photographs. Animal prints, leather and fur were clearly the ‘big’ trends with a strong emphasis in color to red hot hues. And hey, this is New York so, of course, black was everywhere. New long skirts appeared along with chunky wedge boots and sky high platforms. Expect these trends to ‘trickle’ down in future seasons.
