Paul Pelssers’ New York Retail Report is the culmination of over twenty year’s experience within the fashion industry.  Established in 2001 Paul recognized a need within the market for a highly focused retail report created with the merchants eye – targeting vertical retailers, private label designers and manufacturers.  This is a must have report of the Big Apples’ best on offer.

Paul Pelssers’ career in fashion – as Fashion Director for Australia’s leading Young Women’s retailer, Sportsgirl; Director of Merchandising for Esprit de Corp., USA – and President of Sportsman, Australia – for which he won the prestigious ‘Fashion Industries of Australia Award’ for design excellence – have given him extensive knowledge in Men’s, Women’s, Juniors and Accessories fashion design and product development.

Paul has held key course advisory positions at the Royal Melbourne Institute of Technology (R.M.I.T. Melbourne, Australia) and is a member of the American Color Committee, a group of industry experts who come together twice yearly to put together a color & trend forecast for the International Fashion Fabric Exhibition (IFFE).

Paul’s products are now sold into over 200 leading manufacturers and retailers in the USA, Canada, Australia, New Zealand, Asia, Japan, Korea, South America, UK and Europe.

Paul Pelssers’ monthly reports chronicle key color groups, key trends and key categories within the women’s, men’s, accessories and girls’ businesses — right here in New York. Women’s and girls’ editions are published the first of every month. Accessories and men’s are also published the first of each month, except in February and August.

Paul Pelssers’ Early Color & Trend Directions is a biannual look at the international designer collections and the influences found throughout the collections that will impact both the womenswear and menswear markets in future seasons.
