For the past season or two I have been keenly aware of new shapes in skirts hitting the fashion floor – leading me to believe that skirts may once again be on the fashion radar. Firstly, we had draped ‘tulip’ skirts appear, then pleated schoolgirl styles and slim cut pencil shapes. For Resort an 80′s staple makes a comeback – the sarong! My experience tells me that a fixed wrap sarong style (with a back or side zipper) always works better than a style one actually wraps and ties.
