With heavy metal denim at Current/Elliot and dark clean skinny jeans from JBrand hot – as I walk the denim floors – not much else stands out. Have we now done everything possible to denim jeans? Do women have closets full of denim and are looking for something else? I feel strongly that the future of denim will be price and a renewed focus on the basics (hello! Levis anyone?) – leaving the floor wide open for something new! Already denim leggings are running hot and what about the latest and hottest jean – in black ponte knit! A hybrid jean/legging! Absolutely – and the most ‘wanted’ item this Holiday season!
