Jill Sander (the person – not the brand) launches her new line at Uniqlo October 1st! Yesterday, in anticipation, I took a peak – but as you can see from our shots – was sorely disappointed! Curtained off for the big launch – the line was kept under wraps!

After a contentious period during the time Prada owned the brand, Jil Sander quit and has been lying low – until now! Since then Prada sold off the brand to a Japanese conglomerate who placed Raf Simons in the design hot seat – literally. While his designs have been hailed by the critics – unfortunately, die hard Jil Sander fans have not responded positively. But will they respond to +J – Jil’s newest endeavor? I’m betting they will! Design integrity, quality and value – second to none (in other words – ‘inexpensive’!) sounds like a pretty compelling proposition to me!
