A new exclusive line on the Contemporary floor (2nd floor) of Macy’s features the Collection of Rachel by Rachel Roy. And I must say, it looks pretty good! Rachel Roy (Ex wife of Hip Hop mogul Damon Dash) seems to found herself the right home for her designs. It’s an eclectic mix – with an edge – and with good floor space on either side of the main aisle – looks set to give neighboring brands like BCBG and French Connection some major competition. While her clothes never really stood out at Bergdorf Goodman – I feel she is on the right track for success and positioning within the Contemporary mix at Macy’s. Check it out!
