The very best Men’s sweaters are relying on a combination of vintage styling – and novelty – in yarn, color, stitch and necklines. Shawl collars first turned up last Fall 2008 when we predicted we would see so many more this season. In cardigans and sweaters – dimensional cables, interesting ribs and color – particularly red – adds further interest. Luxury ‘soft touch’ yarns – super fine merinos, cashmere and camel hair – also make a strong showing.
