‘Punk’ Never Looked So Glam

.
The 80′s, Punk and New Wave bands are inspiring new trends – across the market – at all levels – at all pricepoints. We believe these influences will only get stronger right into 2010! Sid and Nancy never had it so good as ‘ripped and torn’ tees and leggings, authentically aged leather ‘biker’ jackets, ‘heavy metal’ accessories and Doc Martens make a comeback. Add to this list – graphic ‘black and white’ stripes, glittering stars, Stephen Sprouse’s iconic ‘graffiti’ prints, new ‘carrot’ leg pants, micro minis and ‘wet look’ leggings and even Blondie’s Deborah Harry should be well satisfied!

I absolutly love this trend i think that one of these pieces can make your outfit and make it look edgy and fashionable.

I agree I love the dolled up punk rock look that is coming back in style. The colors are bright, the look can be messy, and it challenges fashion foward individuals to think outside the box. This look is also very easy to bargain shop for all of the people who wants to stay in style, but have to pinch pennies.

I absoluetly the Stephen Sprouse collection for Louis Vuitton with the neon graffiti! The spiked shoes are a great way to spice up a basic outfit & the rips and tears are very “in” for 2009.

I LOVE LOVE LOVE THIS TREND ITS SO EDGY AND FRESH… ITS SOMETHING THAT IS EASILY WORN… AND YOU CAN JAZZ ANYTHING UP BY ADDING A PUNK BELT OR A GREAT PAIR OF STUDDED OR GRAFITTI SHOES… THE 80′S INSPIRATION THAT INSPIRTED THIS LOOK IS ONE OF MY FAVORITES.
